MY STORY
I was never obsessed with making movies as a young child. In fact, the reason I took my first filmmaking class was that the Spanish teacher at my high school had convinced me to drop his class. I needed to have another class as a part of my schedule and Filmmaking was the only available. I then found myself completing a short documentary for Cinequests Picture the Possibilities. Being on set and handling cameras made a difference for me. I was entranced.
I completed my general education for college at De Anza College. I learned from amazing professors and gained technical skills I still use today. I finished my degree at the University of Westminster in London. Rigorous classes overtook my life. I knew that I wanted to produce and I ended continuing with that plan. At the same time, I proved to be the only student with proper technical experience. I ended being the Gaffer for a number of projects outside of my own. I produced documentaries, pilots, and live television. I completed a thesis on the decline of Morally Ambivalent Characters in American sitcoms.
My technical and production experience has led me further down the path of television production and I want to go further.
